I previously wrote a review for this shaver saying that it did not get a close enough shave, in comparison to my Remington. I take that back. Yes, the Remington shavers do get a closer shave, but at the expense of irritated skin/razor burn. You can run this along your underarms no problem, and you will not get razor burn. You can basically use it anywhere and it will be fine. This is an excellent product. I actually purchased a second one after the motor on my first one died out from daily usage.

I have incredibly thick, coarse leg hair and this shaver pretty much gets everything in one go. I've had a Remington shaver for the past few months that I had to swipe over one area multiple times to get the hair off and it would never be smooth, but this leaves my skin smooth (almost like I used a razor!) and the part that touches your skin feels very soft and not sharp. Also I love the way you have to stick it in the charger to charge.

I have tried many razors in my lifetime and this has honesty been the best. I always get strawberry legs or razor burns after shaving but this this is specialized for such a delicate area it gives me a close shave without feeling any roughness or like my skin is going to peel off. I used other Gillette Venus razors before but this is definitely the best investment I have made for shaving. Usually I have to go over my legs a million times over but with one glide my thick unruly hair comes right off. It does not shave completely smooth like a razor, but it is REALLY close. Although, it may give a completely smooth shave to those who have darker and/or thicker hair. The only down side is it just broke (about a year after I bought it). But, here I am buying another one. Even if it only lasts a year, $30 for a year isn't bad. This time I'm going to get the extra 3 year warranty for $3.
