I use this speaker in my cell culture lab because I can spray it with ethanol and keep it disinfected. That being said, it lasts ~5h on one charge, which isn't much considering what I use it for. For a shower, it would be great. The sound is LOUD but not amazing quality. This speaker was a replacement for an identical speaker that I received as a gift a few years ago. This speaker works just as well.
