15W Fast Wireless Charging Phone Mount for Car

Bought the 15W wireless car charger and mount from Walmart.

1. The unit no longer clamps on the phone.

2. Holding the phone and charging causes extreme heat and puts phone in thermal mode and shuts things down and goes to dark mode on the screen. It is a bit better if I turn off WiFi. A thin membrane schock case makes it worse. If I use a low amp cigarette power supply it will not over but if I use a QIC 3.0 charger it will overheater. This cigarette power adapter works fine with other brand15W charger cell car mounts

3. The side clamps press directly on the volume down button and loweres the volume to 0 with out display on the screen. I had to cut the foam/gell off both pinching tabs where it pushed in the volume down button. This is a popular phone did no one notice this when testing?

NO problems if I have air conditioning vent directed to the back of the charging cradle and turn on air conditioning. This is not practical in a Minnesota winter. YES I did not ever have hot heated air directed at the back of the charging cradle.

The phone is a current code Pixel 8.

So it breaks and overheats. Not very good design. I was so hopeful.
